Rate was with cable but no AC or heaters. Big rig friendly questionable, not many pull thrus and every thing tight with lots of low branches. Pull thru sites right next to hi-way 40 with lots of traffic noise. Sites so so level with marginal shade. Not real bad but probably wouldn't stay here again.

Agree with everything jbstok posted. This is a very nice campground, and we hope to return. AT&T cell phone worked good and AT&T aircard worked good. Our rate reflects Passport America discount.

This RV resort review will be the closest I've ever come to rating an RV Park a perfect 10. If the Wi-Fi was free, IMO that would make it a 10. This place has pretty much everything we look for. It's a development/ownership RV Resort with 3 seperate areas. We're staying in the Preserve Estates section with is a gates section for Class A only and the sites are a little bigger. It's much less crowded in here as most of these sites have not been sold yet and are not fully usable. Each section has it's own clubhouse, and all 3 pools are new and heated. The laundry is large with new machines ($1.25 per load), there is a well equipped exercise building, a small restaurant and store on site as well, though they have sort of odd hours. There is a game room too with a pool table, but I never went in there. The rates are scheduled to go up in October of 2009, but if they don't go crazy with it this will still be a nice place to stay. It's about 3 miles from the Silver Springs attraction, home of the Glass Bottom boats, and less than 10 miles from downtown Ocala. It's quiet, with wide paved roads and large concrete pads at each developed site. This park is surrounded by Silver River State Park and the Central Florida Greenway, with a river on one side. They have canoes, kayaks and pontoon boats available for rent. It's quiet, especially where we are. I really like this place and we'll definitely be back.
